A lead came in while you were up a ladder?

Your customer fills out your quote page — even just snaps a photo — and about a minute later you get a text with a ready estimate, in your voice, off your prices. Glance at it, change what you want, tap send — nothing goes out without your yes. First with a real number usually wins the job.

The whole job, on your phone.

The real problem

Sound familiar?

  • A lead comes in at 2pm. You're on a job.
  • You tell yourself you'll quote it tonight.
  • It's 9pm. You're wiped. The estimate still isn't written.
  • By Thursday they've hired somebody else. You never even bid.

The crew that answers first with a real number usually wins. That's not a slogan — that's how bidding works. BeatTheBid exists so "first" is always you, on every lead, from the truck, the roof, anywhere.

Why speed wins

Watch the gap.

Same lead, same minute. Two crews.

We build your page & load your prices

One short call or email. Your quote page goes up at yourname.beatthebid.com, and we load your prices — your rate card if you keep one, or just what you charge out loud. It learns from every number you tweak.

You text back a quote

They fill out your page — a photo alone works. About a minute later your phone buzzes: the job, plus an estimate drafted in your voice off your prices. Glance, change what you want, tap send.

What they get back

A clean quote page, branded to your business, texted straight to their phone — your name and number on it, not ours.

Here's a real one, built from one photo and a couple lines of text.

The honest comparison

This is not an app.

The two things it isn't — and the one thing it is.

The quoting apps

A desk you don't have

Logins, dashboards, $50–300 a month. Built for people who sit at desks. You're on a job site — that's the whole problem.

The lead lists

Somebody else's customers

Thumbtack, Angi and the rest: $15–80 a lead, one of five bids on their screen. The customer belongs to them.

BeatTheBid

A text. $5. Yours.

Your page, your name, your prices, your customers. You pay $5 when we hand you a quote — and you stop by just stopping.

Real setup

Proof, not promises.

A concrete contractor in Denver answered our first email eight minutes after it landed. That same afternoon his own quote page was up — his name, his prices, his link to hand out — and his own phone started taking the requests directly.

and the first 5 quotes of every month are always free
Here's the whole deal: your first 10 quotes are free, then it's $5 each quote that actually sends to a customer — and the first 5 of every month after that are on us too. A draft you edit or drop costs nothing. We bill whatever you used, once a month. No subscription, no contract — you stop by just stopping.

Good questions

The questions everyone asks.

Where do my customers come from?

From you — that's the point. Your link goes on the yard sign, your Facebook, your Google profile, in a text to anybody who asks for a price. BeatTheBid isn't a lead list; we don't sell leads and we never send you strangers. Every quote goes out, under your name, to your customers.

How does it know my prices?

Setup is a 15-minute conversation — your rate card if you keep one, or just what you charge. Then every number you tweak before sending teaches it, so it prices more like you the longer you use it.

What if the estimate's wrong?

You approve every quote before it sends. BeatTheBid drafts it off your prices, in your voice — you glance, fix it if you want, then tap send. Nothing goes out without your yes.

Do my customers download anything?

No. They fill out a web page — even just a photo — and get a text back. No app, no account.

Is this a subscription?

No. First 10 quotes free, then $5 a quote, and the first 5 quotes of every month are always free. No contract — you stop by just stopping.

Do I need a computer?

No. The whole thing runs on texts. You get the request as a text and approve by text — from the job site, the truck, anywhere.

What trades does it work for?

Fencing, concrete, landscaping, tree, junk removal, painting, decking, remodeling — anything where a customer describes a job and you ballpark it. Your page, your prices, your voice.

What do I pay if I don't win the job?

The same $5 per quote we hand you, win or lose — but you're only ever charged for a real, sendable quote, never for a raw request that goes nowhere.

Your page, live today.

Email hello@beatthebid.com — your trade and your city are enough. We'll build your page, load your prices, and text you the link today. Your first 10 quotes are free, so it costs you nothing to find out.
